Section XI Fall Boys Golf Team Brackets
The Section XI 2024 fall boys golf team brackets have been officially released.
Westhampton earned the top seed in the 20-team bracket. The top 10 teams receive a first-round bye.
Teams tee off on Thursday, October 24.

Northport’s Padruig Douglas Wins Section XI Golf Title
Padruig Douglas was the 2021 Suffolk County Boys Golf Champion from Northport High School.He shot a two day total of 150 (73, 77).Ward Melville was the Suffolk County team champion for the fourth consecutive year with a team total of 801. They won by 25 strokes.

Section XI Boys Golf Underway, Girls Golf to Begin in May
The Section XI boys golf – a fall sport – schedule began in mid-March and the season is underway.
The Section XI girls golf schedule is officially available and that season will run from May 3 to June 3.
Section XI tournaments will follow regular seasons.
Ward Melville Wins Suffolk County Boys Golf Title
Ward Melville boys golf has captured a Suffolk County championship.
The No. 2 Patriots (15-0) beat No. 12 Southampton at Rock Hill Country Club.
Palmer Van Tuyl shot a 1-over 37 on the back nine to seal it for Ward Melville.
This makes two straight titles for the Patriots.

James Alden from Northport was the Individual champ.
Also is the picture of the nine players who qualified for the State Tournament in June.
Four Ward Melville players are on the team. It is the first time ever that so many players made it from one team.
