Thursday’s Division IV @SectXISuffolk football championship game is being moved to Friday, November 16 at 4 p.m. due to the impending storm as a safety precaution.
The Division II championship will be moved back from 7 to 7:30 p.m.
Henry Martinez is the man, the myth, the legend for Amityville soccer.
He scored two goals – in the 20th and 52nd minutes – to lead the Warriors to a Class A New York State boys soccer title over Somers High. Amityville won, 2-1.
This is the second state title for Amityville who also won in 2015.
