Copiague senior Franklin Parra was selected by the Mets in the 11th round of this year’s Major League Baseball Draft, 320th overall.

He will report to Port St. Lucie after graduating on June 21.

Newfield alum Sean Boyle, who plays at Dallas Baptist University, was selected in the 25th round.
