Suffolk Tennis Coaches Association Hosts Bob Davis Play For Autism Fundraiser

Thank you to all the athletes who participated in yesterday’s 2025 Coach Bob Davis “Play for Autism” Boys Doubles Fundraiser, and thank you to all those who supported and cheered on our players as well.
With everyone’s help, this event raised an incredible $1221 for ACEing Autism.  Congratulations to winners Shashank Pennabadi, Jeffrey Behar, and runners-up Aidan Thomas and Leo Schoolman.
We want to thank coaches John Selvaggio and Christine Klouda and Section XI tennis chair Mark Mensch for organizing and running this event, Smithtown East High School for using their facilities, and the Suffolk Tennis Coaches Association for their support.
A final thank you to Coach Bob Davis, who founded this tournament 16 years ago and started the tradition of playing some fun tennis while raising money for a great cause.
Good luck to our athletes as they begin their post-season play, which is just around the corner. We hope to see you all at the County Dinner on June 4!

It was founded to honor the tragic death of Yeardley Love by engaging young people through compelling, relatable films and honest conversations around healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviors.
