The victory was the 126th of Huntington head coach Steve Muller’s career. He’s now the winningest gridiron coach in Blue Devil history with a mark of 126-84 in 23 seasons.
Saturday’s victory allowed Muller to pass Huntington legend Joe Lucey, who compiled a mark of 125-95-9 in 27 seasons as the Blue Devil football team’s head coach from 1961-1987.

It’s not a secret anymore that Eli Manning works out at Westhampton Beach High School during the summer.
It’s pretty unique though when he poses for images with some recognizable figures around the community.
This image above, for instance, features WHB Athletic Director, Kathy Masterson and WHB recent graduate and New Hampshire bound running back Dylan Laube.
It’s that time of year again … where you can root for Long Island against the New York City squad in the annual Empire Challenge.
This is one of the premier high school football all-star games in the country.
At a recent ceremony, formerJohn Glenn High School alumni Ifeanyi Momah and Trevor Coston were honored to have their football uniform numbers retired.
Momah, who played at Boston College, has been with the Eagles, Browns, Lions and Cardinals and is a free agent.
Coston, who played at Maine, spent time with the Lions and Bears before retiring from professional football.
More than 350 community members came out to support the players.
“Thank you for always giving back and bringing pride to the Elwood Community,” said John Glenn Athletic Director, Dave Shanahan.
