Joe Grady Officiates Final Section XI Football Game
Joe Grady has been a football referee in Section XI for 48 years and officiated his final game last weekend.

Sayville Football Celebrates 50th Anniversary of Rutgers Trophy
Sayville football celebrated homecoming with a victory and a 50th anniversary of its Rutgers Trophy win from 1972.
Dozens of players returned to the school, received commemorative hats and posed for a team photo with the Rutgers Trophy just as they did 50 years ago.

Official 2022 Section XI Girls Tennis Brackets
The 2022 Section XI girls playoff brackets are available.
The tournament begins on Wednesday, October 12 and runs through October 31.
Top seeds are Harborfields (large school) and Bayport-Blue Point (small school).
Milestone: Bay Shore’s DeBonis Records 1700 Assists
Congrats to Bay Shore’s Sophia DeBonis who set a new record with 1,700 career assists in volleyball!
Soccer History at North Babylon
Savannah Rogers is making school history at North Babylon this year.
She has recorded 11 consecutive shutouts for the girls soccer team.

Rocky Point Inducts Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 22
Rocky Point inducted seven to its Athletic Hall of Fame on October 1. Congratulations to 2022 inductees:

The event, organized by the Office of Health, Physical Education and Athletics, preceded the Eagles varsity winning homecoming game.
Walt Whitman Football Participates in Food Drive
The Walt Whitman varsity football team participated in the Town of Huntington High School Football food drive.
The Wildcats spent their day collecting non-perishable food for local food pantries and recorded over 26 full carts of items.
