Section XI Releases Basketball Playoff Brackets
The Section XI boys and girls basketball playoffs will run on February 27 and 28. Brackets are officially available.

Section XI: Together We Are Stronger
It has been a journey for all of us since returning to play this winter. We appreciate everyone who has been part of the process.
Still plenty of action ahead, but THANK YOU to the players, coaches, ADs, admins, nurses, trainers, supporters and officials who made it all happen.
Championship Info: Section XI Fencing
The Section XI fencing championships will take place on February 24. Good luck to all participants.
In the girls finals, Ward Melville will play Hills and for the boys, Newfield will take on Sayville/BBP/Connetquot. Both start at 4 p.m.
Milestone: Jack Garside Sets KP Scoring Record
Congratulations to Jack Garside, who set a new Kings Park boys basketball scoring record after he reached career point No. 1,153 this week!
Hills Wins 15th Consecutive Section XI Swim Title
Congratulations to Half Hollow Hills as they were crowned Suffolk County champions for the 15th consecutive season.
Michael Jang of Commack was voted the Most Outstanding Competitor of the meet by the Long Island Swimming Officials Association.
Hauppauge High School was presented with the LISOA Sportsmanship Award for 2021.

Section XI Girls Tennis Schedule Available
The Section XI girls tennis season will run from March 8 through April 12.
A playoff tournament will take place shortly after the regular season. Check SectionXI.org for pairs/seeds towards mid-April.

Pat-Med Unified Sports Featured on ABC 7
High risk sports are back in action in New York state, and that also means the return of Special Olympics Unified Sports.
“A Unified team is, half the students on the team have a disability, and half the students do not,” Special Olympics New York President and SEO Stacey Hengsterman said. “And they play together.”
