It’s always great to see former Section XI stars shining at the next level.

Shoreham-Wading River’s Chris Gray, a grad student at North Carolina, was named Preseason Player of the Year and Preseason Attackman of the Year by USA Lacrosse Magazine.

He led UNC and the ACC in goals with 49 and was ACC Offensive Player of the Year, ACC Men’s Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and First Team All-America last season.
